Uma extravante associação dos Beatles a Mahler foi apresentada num famoso artigo da TIMES,

o célebre artigo da "Aeloian Cadence", Lennon, mais tarde, usou da sua habitual ironia , ou seja até à data não fazia a mínima ideia do que aquilo queria dizer... a coisa foi associada , entre outras ao tema "Not A Second Time" e um tema (parte final de "SOng of The Earth) de Mahler. Um bom pretexto para este post com a banda sonora do filme de Visconti a 45 rpm em Portugal.
